The Hope and Help Act, effective in Haiti until 2025, have allowed manufacturers to operate with more confidence and long term visibility. In 2013, we expanded our portfolio and founded industrial park Zone Franche Des Palmiers S.A. under the Free Zone statute. In 2015, we launched Zone Franche de Digneron S.A. The social footprint that the combined projects will have, will account for the creation of over 20,000 jobs.
Zone Franche Des Palmiers S.A
The "Palmiers" Free Zone was developed in Carrefour in direct alignment with the groups vision to alleviate unemployment in impoverished areas and attract foreign investment. Today, the Free Zone is a fully turnkey operation available for rent or joint venture.
Zone Franche de Digneron S.A
The "Digneron" Free Zone is currently in development and is projected to employ 15,000 people. It has established a benchmark in Haiti with its state of the art facilities open for rent and sustainable concept. Tenants will benefit from the economic advantages of the Free Zone statute and if qualified The Hope and Help Act, along side the many perks gained from the sustainably designed park.
